Most Luxurious Hotel opens in Dubai with Worlds biggest firework display, has the world gone mad?
It’s a copy of the Atlantis in the Bahamas and although that is an enormous hotel the bedrooms aren’t large and neither were they particularly well appointed when we stayed there. The public rooms are lovely and again these too have been copied, i just hope they have better food and service than in America. The Burj Al Arab is the definitive hotel, the service, ambiance and accommodation cannot be beaten, we had a truly memorable few night there in 2007 whilst Atlantis was basically foundation height. Why the thumbs down? Jealous – don’t be you wouldn’t have wanted the job i had for the last thirty odd years and all the stress that went with it whilst bringing up our own family. I worked damned hard to pay for everything i ever got – if you don’t like my answer tough! I deserve the life i’m living now.
