Modem Spy stops recording in the middle of conversation. How to fix it?
There can be several reasons for a such program behaviour. Try one of the following: • Go to File/Preferences menu item, Advanced tab, and disable hardware busy detector. • Go to the same tab, and disable software silence detector (or decrease silence level option). Program will drop a call in 16 seconds of silence (default setting) if silence detector is enabled. Some modems (US Robotics, 3com) have very low sound volume, so Modem Spy will hangup after recording first 16 seconds of conversation on these modems.
