Millions facing famine in Ethiopia as rains fail, will it be worse due to unsustainable population growth?
They’ve never heard of birth control? Geldoff and the crew had a great idea back in Live Aid days, but, it only postpones the inevitable! This comes around every couple of years (not always Ethiopia), we get live TV news blasted at us showing starving kids with no clothes on and flies swarming around them, and we are supposed to feel guilty that it’s ‘all our fault’. I only give to 2 charities now. One is the British Legion, and the other is the BRITISH Salvation Army. Charity only matters here for me now. In the past, I have given freely to overseas charities and done my bit, only to see those countries in full scale war only a couple of years later using brand new Russian tanks and AK’s, and all the food and tents being hijacked by the war lords. Never again will I be mugged. Call me hard if you like, I don’t care.
