The majority of women who have migraine headaches during pregnancy do very well. Perhaps the first two months of pregnancy they continue to suffer but, in great majority, are exempt from them because of estrogen that plays a protective role throughout the generation of the fetus. They, however, again appeared in the difficult period of childbirth, because of the falling estrogen.
