Microsoft Money does not assign checkMoney categories and subcategories when I import transactions. Why?
Money does not automatically add category information when you import a QIF file. Although once you assign a category to a payee, it will memorize the relationship on future imports. You should edit category and sub-category lists in checkMoney so they match as closely as possible to your desktop financial program.
