DIGITAL tested the earlier Service Packs 1 and 2 and found that it did fix some problems with Developer Studio that could affect VF users. Service Pack 3 (SP3), which includes Service Packs 1 and 2, would also be recommended for users who are experiencing crashes in Developer Studio when opening workspaces. However, we have found that, unlike Service Pack 1, SP3 will not install if only VF, and not other Visual Studio tools, is installed. Note – Visual Studio 97 service packs are not applicable to VF V6. Visual Studio 98 Service Pack 1 (“core”) can be applied to VF V6 if desired.
