We recommend that you do not use PCguard with any other Anti-Virus package on your computer. There is a particular problem with McAfee VirusScan 8.0 DAT version 4.0.4400 in that it sees PCguard Anti-Virus (driver css-dvp.sys) as a virus. The file cannot be disinfected, so McAfee VirusScan will suggest to you to delete the file. If the file is deleted, PCguard Anti-Virus will no longer function. If you update the McAfee DAT files, the latest version will not detect PCguard as a virus.
