Yes, Service Provider Tax ID is required on 90 percent of all records. In addition, each record must have MC024 Service Provider Number or MC026 – National Service Provider ID populated. Therefore, at least 90 percent of all claims records will have a Service Provider Tax ID and one other provider number coded on it.
