MAYBE THERE IS A NOISE WAKING PILOT UP IN THE MORNING?
Maybe. She has (since the day she was born) slept with a white noise machine that is probably bordering on RED OR YELLOW NOISE. It’s airplane engine noisy – but, she sleeps like a dream and it blocks out all the other noises. She has black curtains and her room is so dark that I insist on a little night light so the monsters THAT I AM AFRAID OF don’t get her.
