May we use a military treatment facility while enrolled in US Family Health Plan/TRICARE Prime?
No. Under the US Family Health Plan/TRICARE Prime option at Johns Hopkins, you are unable to use military treatment facilities. The only exceptions to this limitation are if you have an acute medical emergency and the military treatment facility is closest to you, if care is not available through Johns Hopkins specialists or if a new member who is pregnant wishes to complete her prenatal care at her previous MTF.
