Not at this time. Only courses offered as part of the POPDP are considered for compensation. How long are the POPDP courses? All POPDP courses are 12 hours. Classes usually meet twice per week (Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday) or on Saturday. Weekday classes are scheduled as six sessions from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and Saturday classes are scheduled as three sessions from 8:30am to 12:30pm or 1:30pm to 5:30pm. If I miss a session, can I make it up another time? No. Attendance is mandatory and attending all sessions is required for “satisfactory” completion of the 12 hour course. Absences are not permitted, and an absence or excessive tardies will jeopardize a satisfactory completion. Can part-time employees participate in this program? Yes. Part-time employees may take POPDP courses and “bank” them for future credits and payment until full-time employment.
