May I file an amended return using WebFile?

0

You may use WebFile to file an amendment to your 2008 tax return. (You cannot file amendments online for other tax years.) If you filed your original return using WebFile, login using the “Saved Filing” button on the left side of the WebFile Home page. If you have not used WebFile this year, login using the “2007 Filing” button on the left side of the WebFile Home page. After you successfully login, select filing a 2007 amended return and your reason for amendment on the “Filing Info” page. Then, enter your information (including your changes) as you would for a regular filing. When filing an amended return, you MUST enter either the payment made or the overpayment with the original return, even if the original return wasn’t WebFiled. Leave these fields blank if zero. You CANNOT file an amended 2007 (or older) return using WebFile.
