You are welcome to use the Ethernet ports that are scattered throughout the LRC: in the group study rooms, the lounges, etc. Look for the data ports, then find one with a green dot next to the second outlet from the top. These are live Ethernet ports. Sorry, but we cannot offer help with setting up ethernet cards for accessing the UVa network, but can refer you to ITC’s Web pages, (http://www.itc.virginia.edu/desktop/docs/wireless/) for recommendations, instructions, and referrals for further assistance.
