May day students spend the night on campus as a guest of a boarder?
Yes, although in general, overnights are not allowed during the week. Hosting a day student or visitor overnight occurs as it does in a private home. Students get permission from the hosting house parent, and guests live by the “rules of the house.” The guest student’s parent needs to call the house head to request permission. The Day-Boarder Exchange is an optional program whereby day students may live for a week in one of the dormitories and boarders may live for a week in a family home. The plan does not have to be reciprocal. Permission forms are available in the Deans’ Office.
