May an employee donate sick leave to another employee who is in the Voluntary Shared Leave Program?
An employee may donate sick leave to immediate family members only. A non-family member may donate vacation and bonus vacation leave. Immediate family members are defined as spouse (husband or wife), parents, in-laws, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, stepbrother or stepsister, half brother or half sister and any dependents living in the employee’s household.
