No. AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ can only be awarded to MDs or DOs (or physicians with equivalent degrees from other countries). Non-physicians may not be awarded AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Non-physicians may, however, receive a certificate of attendance/participation that acknowledges the activity was designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. The AMA has developed recommended language for certificates of credit and attendance.
