May a credit counseling agency use a third party to assist in the administration of a debt management plan (DMP)?

A credit counseling agency may only use a U.S. Trustee approved credit counseling agency or one that is covered by an approved agency’s bond to assist in the administration of a DMP. Additionally, the agency that will be handling the DMP must agree, in writing, to permit the U.S. Trustee Program to audit it, as deemed appropriate.
