May 2010 1 post Blunt blades on the bread slicer 26 May 2010 Does anyone else suffer?
My local store only stocks a large wholemeal loaf thick sliced, so I always have to get it sliced to medium. What started as a minor problem, with the slices not totally separated, is now major, with the bread torn into holes by the machine. I would say only around 20% of the loaf is usable for sandwiches etc. I spoke to the guy who does the slicing, who told me he cannot get the slicer performance improved, then to the store Customer Services, who agreed to pass on my complaint to the relevant person, but still no joy! I have now spoken to a friendly and helpful man on the Careline, who has actioned my complaint and treated me to some Nectar points, but I am not sure the store will take it up.
