Marks off an A – Should I get my GCSE maths paper remarked?
Personally I would take what you have been given. I’m saying this as every job I have looked at applying for since leaving school has required GCSE math’s at grade C or above. I can’t think of any job that specifically asks for an A grade over anything else. If you’re going to College and need an A grade to get on the course maybe speak to the college first and see if you can get on the course with your current grade as if you ask for a re-grade your paper may come back with a lower grade. Unlikely but not impossible.
