Most large OEMs (Dell, Gateway, NEC, Micron, HP, Compaq, etc) are shipping some systems with OSR2, though usually not with FAT32 enabled. If you are considering buying such a system, and having OSR2 on it is important to you, then you should try to find out what version of Windows95 the specific model you are interested in is shipped with. 10 Mar 97 Okay, I got my new system from a large OEM, but I didn’t get a C D with it. It says I can make a set of floppies, but I want a CD! You’re stuck. In order to get a CD of OSR2 you’d have to buy one. However, all of the OSR2 installation files are on your hard drive, in the directory C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS. You could copy all of the files in this directory onto a zip disk, for instance, and then install from the zip disk.
