Many software licenses contain a “per Server” restriction. Is there such a restriction on the use of Acrobat Distiller Server?
Yes. Both the 100 user and unlimited user versions of Acrobat Distiller Server are licensed “per Server.” For licensing Acrobat Distiller Server, a “Server” is defined as a Computer with one or more central processing units (CPU), provided that when a Computer has more than two (2) CPUs, each group of two (2) CPUs will be considered a separate Server, as will any remaining CPU. For example, a Computer with seven (7) CPUs shall be deemed to be 4 Servers (three with 2 CPUs and a fourth with one CPU).
