Volume activation does not use ActiveX. It uses WMI properties and methods. These are described in Appendix 1 of the Volume Activation 2.0 Operations Guide, which you can download on the Volume Activation 2.0 Technical Guidance (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=190472) page.
