MAMEoX says the rom files loaded! Why won my rom run?
. If only things were as simple as just loading your rom! Your rom is zipped, so MAMEoX has to decompress it. It then has to decode graphics and start video and audio emulation within the same memory space. A good analogy would be to imagine making bread. All of the dry ingredients for bread can fit into a pretty tiny bag (your zipped rom). However to make bread, you need to add water and other ingredients to the dry mix. When you have dough, you have to let it rise a bit (at this stage we have uncompressed your zipped rom).
