Made redundant. Can I claim for unfair dismissal?
basically in the UK people have very few employment rights Anyone can be made redundant or unfairly dismissed and there is little you can do about it. This is because it can take two years for your case to be heard by a tribunal, and even if you win your case, then any money that you recieve in terms of benefits or income from a new job is deducted from any compensation that you are able to claim.
