Mackie HR824 Studio Monitors Review – Are They The Best?
Review of my Mackie HR824 Active Monitor Speakers and what made me buy them. The Mackie’s are Powered Monitor Speakers so no need to worry about getting a matched Power Amp! I’ll give you a general overview about what makes them so great and not so great. To be honest, there’s not much to love about the Mackies HR824’s but I’ll let you decide for yourself. I struggled for years trying to get my mixers right with no luck what so ever. I tried everything, new studio acoustic foam, new plugins, new computer etc. I knew that what monitors you used could make a huge difference to your sound but i never realized “How Much of a DIFFERENCE!”. I was using pretty good monitors already, a trusty pair of Yamaha MSP5’s but when i powered up the Mackies for the first time, all of a sudden i could hear every little detail in my songs.
