Low White Blood Count – Would infection be detected (Hiv, TB)?
Having a low white blood cell count does not mean that disease will be more easily detected. This simply means your body’s immune response will be lessened. I would not stress over it at this point, as many people have lowered white blood cell counts and live happy, productive lives. My suggestion is to wait for the follow-up appointment, and relax, you’re not alone.
