Now that you have installd the MLA on the host, you should see a corresponding network as an option for the NICs in the virtual machine. If you select this option, the vm NIC will be in the same network as the loopback adapter on the host. To be able to communicate between the host and guest, give both the loopback adapter on the host and the NIC in the vm IP addresses which are in the same subnet. For example you could make them 192.168.21.1 and 192.168.21.2 with netmask of 255.255.255.0 . Once you have done that, you should be able to communicate between the host and guest. You can temporarily disable you wireless NIC to make sure the host machine uses the loopback adapter to communicate. Getting Internet access for the vm is a bit harder if you are running Active Directory. ICS (Internet Connection Sharing which is built into XP) doesn’t work well with AD. The best solutio
