Looking for Scrapbook Ideas?
Q: Scrapbooking supplies? I’m thinking about starting a scrapbook for my family. What are some basic tools I need? Where can I find information on the basics of scrapbooking to help me get started? On what website can I go to buy some cheap supplies? What advise would you give a beginner? A: I would go to www.scrapbook.com. I used this site a ton the last time I made a scrapbook. Its free and is way better than the books with ideas that you can buy at craft stores. There are a TON of examples on there that people have posted and I found them very helpful for ideas. Generally, you really don’t need a ton to make one- it really depends on how “fancy” you want it to be. I make a scrapbook every time I take a vacation and each book ends up costing around $300 in the end. This is just because I buy so much stuff though, so it gets expensive. All you really need is the book, page inserts, paper, pens, and photos. Then the rest is basically just up to you. I don’t know if you have a Hobby Lob
