Looking for non-USA responses ONLY. How many work hours are in a typical work day in your country?
Here in Guatemala, the typical work day is the same, 8 hours a day, but usually we work 4 hours on Saturday, so if you work full time you have to work 44 hours a week. In some jobs you can work more, but by law you can not work more than 60 hours/week and you must have a day off per week, usually Sunday. I work in the textile industry and I work close to 60 hours a week, and I am the production manager of the plant and I have to be in top of almost everything.
