Natural gas is often used for cooking, providing hot water, and heating our homes so it is a term many of us are quite familiar with. A term you may not be familiar with is its liquefied form. This is simply vapor gas that has been processed so that all the impurities, water, hydrogen sulfide, and carbon dioxide are removed. It is then made into a liquid form that will frozen. To complete the process of liquefying vapor gas it has to be cooled to -163 degrees Celsius. Liquefied natural gas has to be stored in special containers in order to be safely transported to various locations around the world. It takes less space than ordinary vapor gas so more of it can be moved at one time. One of the main purposes of liquefaction is to provide a source of natural gas in areas where there isn’t a pipeline for the original form of it. After liquefied natural gas has been delivered to its intended destination there is a process used to reverse the format of it. There are plants all over the world
