LINE VOLTAGE Q) Which cabinet light fixtures are considered to be line voltage fixtures?
Any light fixture that uses the available voltage (usually 120 volts) directly and does NOT use a transformer to step down the voltage from line voltage to low voltage (12 volts or 24 volts) is considered to be a line voltage fixture.
