Line Hunting† 1. What is Multi-Line Hunting?
Multi-Line Hunting† allows multiple telephone lines in a business to act as a single group, called a hunt group. The hunt group is made up of a Pilot Line and associated Member Lines. When someone calls the pilot line and no one answers or the line is busy, the calls will ring sequentially through the member lines until answered. If the pilot line has Voicemail provisioned, the call will hunt through the member lines, and if the lines are busy or go unanswered, the call will go to Voicemail.
