Lide 600 film scanner. How does one secure the transparency in the scanner?
The scanner comes with a film adapter unit that holds the 35mm film strip. It compensates for the fhinness of the film strip. You’ll have to contact Canon support if you need to purchase one or make a mask using thick paper or a tranparency sheet and attach your film strip with drafting tape (it does not stick aggressively and removes easily. You might also check with a local scanner repair shop for a used adapter. Wish the solution was easier.
