lf BFK-07 is a 98-octane fuel how does it differ from a pump fuel?
Elf BFK-07 is classed as a 98-octane pump fuel, however BFK-07 contains, No Benzene, No Lead, No Sulphur, and emits less than half the carbon monoxide of a standard pump fuel. BFK-07 is a very safe fuel for competitor’s spectators and the environment. BFK-07 was originally blended for indoor events where levels of Benzene and Carbon Monoxide were being recorded at dangerously high levels. Every one is aware of Carbon Monoxide but few people are aware that Benzene is a category one carcinogen with direct links to cancers such Leukemia, but what they are not aware of is that a standard pump fuel today can contain up to 4.0% Benzene by volume.
