LEVELS and TROPHIES: Are any levels or trophies awarded retroactively?
Yes, some, but only on launch day. Levels On the day we released SquidPlus, we gave a lot of existing lensmasters a headstart. –If you had at least 1 published lens, you got to start out at Level 5. –If you had a few published lenses above a certain LensRank, you got to start out at Level 10. –Giant Squids got to start at 20, and Giant 100s started at Level 25. –Anyone who shows up brand new today starts at Level 1 and works her way up! Trophies We backfilled Giant Squid trophies, lens publication trophies, LotD trophies, and Anniversary trophies. For example: Bonnie with 120 lenses would start out only with the 100dth lens trophy on her Trophy page, the highest one she would have unlocked so far. Another example: If Rachel has been on Squidoo for 3.2 years, she will start out with the 3 Year anniversary trophy. And when 4 years rolls around, she’ll get that one too! If we backfilled all the trophies, existing users would have an abundance of trophies dumped on them all at once. It
