Last year parents agreed to a 60 – 40 user fee split why go back to the 50 -50?
The School committee user fee policy is a 50%-50% split for user fees. In May 2006, the school committee voted the 60% – 40% split for user fees ONLY for the 2006-07 school year so indoor track, field hockey, and freshmen girls’ and boys’ soccer and basketball could be reinstated. It was voted for only one year, because the school committee charged the principal and athletic director to conduct a study of the athletic program and to make recommendations for the future.
