Lance, what happened to NSync doing Grease 3?
Lance: We were writing the screenplay for Grease 3. We were supposed to play the T-Birds. No one wanted to deal with Grease right now. Britney was attached to do the female lead but they didn’t want to touch it. I thought it was huge. I think it will definitely come back up. JC was the main guy but all of us had a cool part. So many different people own different parts (of that film/play). One owns the play, one owns the name, one owns the T-birds and nobody wanted to deal with it. There was just so much legality that it was just crazy. Teenhollywood: You had some trouble in Chicago? Lance: I love Chicago. The people who were working with the company don’t really understand the whole music side. They’ve never dealt with us before. I tried to warn them that if we are shooting a scene outside they better have security because there will be a lot of kids there and it’s going to be crazy. They said it would be fine.
