Keyless Entry Not Working On 2005 Honda Civic EX. Help?

0

About a year ago, my keyless entry stopped working on my 2005 Honda Civic EX. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, but sometimes, I would have to press the button on the FOB a few times to get it to work. Then one day it stopped working. I replaced the FOB battery and that did not fix it. I checked the fuse, as well, and it appears to be in good working order. When I removed the panel under the steering wheel, I noticed a yellow connector was disconnected. It looks like there are two different plugs it could fit into. I’m not sure if this is the problem, but I suspect it is. Have you encountered this, and do you think plugging it back in would get it to work again? A: if its a small yellow plug then its mostly likly your SRS diagonstics cable. it just came out the dumby socket.
