Keeping warm / to reduce hypothermia – would this work?

I am a regular duck hunter we have made a science of keeping warm in frigid water. Actually keep your feet and head warm and that will help. There are currently socks with the Mylar weaved into them that reflect warmth back to the body. I wear a union suit to keep heat close to my body.
