Keep Pulling My Iron Shots, Whats the Problem?
Hi to all. I have had a previous problem driving were I have been cutting across the ball or hitting the toe of the driver face, which has been causing it to slice. I have now corrected this by standing more square/closed, keeping the right elbow in and standing a bit closer to the ball. I am now striking the driver very solid and instead of a slice now and can see the the extra distance and the amount of shots I keep in play. Since doing this I am now finding that when I hit iron shots from 3-8 iron I tend to pull the shot well to the left and sometimes causing a bad hook. I then try and correct this by opening the clubface up, however this causes me to duff, top the shot and cause more problems than the pull. (At least the pull shot allows me to get the distance and leaves me a chip shot to the green). Can anyone give me any advice of what I could practice or what the fault my be to enable me to hit staighter shots. I find it very frustrating that I am hitting straighter and longer s
