Just what is the MLS?
Simply put the MLS is a computer program which allows agents to find homes based on bedrooms, size, amenities and lots of other criteria. Only a real estate agent can enter information in the MLS. The MLS is considered to be the number one selling tool used by real estate agents. Over 90% of all real estate sold comes through the MLS system. Real estate agents pay a fee to the Realtors’ association for the right to publish information on the MLS system and agree that Sellers will pay a commission to any licensed real estate agent that brings the buyer for their home. 2 Q.
