Just professional question: why one needs to change IRQ for COM port used under MS Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP/2003 Server?
02.02.21A. The problem is, that some programs or services under MS Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP/2003 Server stop standard IRQ number processing, when it detects F-Bus. Therefore, you should change IRQ number, used for COM port, to non-standard one (i.e., not IRQ 3 or IRQ 4). In most cases, setting IRQ 5 or IRQ 7 works. As per our tests, this problem usually occurs in cables with automatic F-Bus/M-Bus switch: i.e., F-Bus signal is not being processed the cable works in M-Bus mode only. 02.02.
