Judaism 101: Where do I find a mikvah in the South Bay?
Have you ever wanted to immerse yourself in the living waters of a mikvah? This age-old ritual used by Jewish men and women alike, as well as by Jews by Choice as part of the conversion process, used to be hard to perform here in the South Bay, but not longer. We now have several mikvah choices to help us perform this ritual both on the days when it is commanded to do so and when we feel the need or desire. Going to the mikvah may require an appointment. So, give the local mikvah a call several days in advance to plan your ritual immersion. Some also have stricter rules than others. Thus, it’s best to research each one to discover where you will feel most comfortable and which one best fits your needs.
