JotSmart did not capture everything inside the work window. Why not?
Some programs – most notably Adobe Acrobat – can “layer” pictures into a single larger picture. When refreshing the screen, these programs can take several seconds to redraw all the layers. The delay becomes noticeably longer on slow machines. When you command JotSmart to “send to e-mail” or “save” to the disk or clipboard, a refresh event can occur and the program under JotSmart’s work window may redraw itself. By default, JotSmart allows all programs 0.25 seconds to refresh themselves before taking a snapshot of the work window. If the underlying program has not fully redrawn itself in 0.25 seconds, you will only see a small portion of what should be in the window. How to correct this. We have revised JotSmart to allow you to change the delay time associated with this refresh rate. The correction has been included in JotSmart beta copy that is available here.
