Joseph Smith had several wives. How many wives do Mormons believe hell have in Heaven?
I’m Mormon, and I really don’t concern myself with these kinds of questions. We believe families can be eternal, that the power to seal things on earth and in heaven has been returned to earth (see Matthew 16:16) Joseph Smith learned things ‘line upon line’ and when he first heard of the sealing ordinance he was sealed to many people (later as it was clarified more, we were only sealed to family members.) Obviously he was sealed to his wife Emma, later on he was married to other women too. I don’t know how many of them he was sealed too, but we do believe you can have more than one wife in heaven. All that he was sealed to, will be his wives for eternity. As a Mormon, I know that polygamy existed in both the Old Testament and in the history of my church. I don’t really study about it much anymore because it’s no longer the law that we live. There are many reasons as to why it was called for and why so many good people were willing to live it. Joseph Smith was actually reading about pol
Maybe not correct but just to add my two cents. According to the LDS it will depend on what achievements he made in his lifetime towards godliness. They believe you have different levels of heaven in the afterlife. Somehow I think that it would mean if he led a life of a faithful follower he would achieve the higher levels with the best of the best, the highest being in the same level as God. So he would probably have all the women he wanted. Thats how it was explained to me by a LDS door to door man and I asked him to leave.
