Joining a sorority at University of Maryland?

0

Here’s the website for the University of Maryland’s Greek Life. You should definitely look around on it! http://www.greek.umd.edu/ It looks like they have recruitment in the spring. The required GPA is a 2.5, and you must have earned at least 12 college credit hours. They have lots of sororities, so greek life on their campus is probably pretty large & well respected. ‘Rush’ or ‘Recruitment’ is a time (usually a week) for all PNM’s (Potential New Members) to have a chance to visit with each sorority and begin evaluating who they think would be the best fit for them. But keep in mind, while you are choosing between them, they are also choosing between you and all of your fellow PNM’s. Things like grades and personality help them decide who they think would be a valueable asset to their sorority.
