Jews, why did God make a covenant with Abraham?
Not a Jew God saw in Abram a righteous man, Who sought after God. God chose him because God wanted to establish in Abram a nation where by He( God )could redeem man back to Himself, through the immaculate conception of one of Abram’s descendants Mary. Abram became Abraham the H A M means” I AM” in Hebrew,” I AM ” being GOD and God then became ” The God of Abraham.” Abraham fulfilled a purpose for God to re enter the lives of man after the sin of Adam and Eve. God has always sought the fellowship of man kind. This was the reason I think God created man in the first place. To be a Friend.
