A. We try to provide a level playing field. Yes, the math will take some consideration. 3,500nm equals to seven legs of 500nm each, or five of 700nm or some other combination. Teams just need to be careful about the mileage total. (We have a standard spreadsheet for keeping track.) The distance is sufficient to cover most of the continent.
