Jeep Wrangler, are they reliable & what is the average gas mileage for city & highway??
I found a 1994 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 Liter, 6 cylinder, automatic, 4 wheel drive, hard top. It has approximately 150,000 miles on it. It is currently being sold for $5995 from an independent used car deal (not a regular dealership lot). The picks that they listed show the car is clean, very well maintained. I am wondering how reliable they are as far as a vehicle goes and what the average gas mileage is for city & highway? I’m thinking of getting this for a teenager (and yes she will pay it back as this is her dream car…..think Lorelai on Gilmore Girl’s and that’s the car!). Any information that you may have on this type of vehicle would be greatly appreciated. I asked “my” mechanic but he said about all he knew was they were good as his expertise is in BMW, MB’s & Volvo’s. He doesn’t even fix his own Ford Explorer, has another mechanic do it. LOL Thanks!
