Jeep Grand Cherokee “Check Gas Cap” light?
I just purchased a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4×4 and I am having trouble with the “check gas cap” light. My husband and I have checked it, and tried to reset it by the way the manual explains, but it won’t go away. The dealership “said” they put a new gas cap on the vehicle, but I’m not sure if I believe that. The vehicle was serviced on Friday, and everything was fine. I am trying to figure out some troubleshooting tips, if there are any about it and how to reset the light. I’m a little unhappy with the dealership right now. Just thought this would help. Thanks. A: Next time you bring it to the dealer, put your initials on the part to be changed. If you get it back with the same part, you have a lawsuit. I know someone that did this, dealers can be legal thieves. Take it back and tell them they didn’t correct the problem.
